Outreach Encouraged: United Church of Christ’s Commitment to Serving Others
At the United Church of Christ, we believe in taking care of others. This is reflected in our long-standing partnerships with organizations that serve the poor in Guatemala, Haiti, and southern Colorado. We also provide the primary meeting space for the local chapter of Alcoholics Anonymous (AA) and Al-Anon, supporting individuals and families affected by addiction. Moreover, we sponsor a child in the Philippines through the United Church of Christ’s global ministry, UCC.
Our commitment to outreach goes beyond our partnerships and sponsorships. We mobilize to help those in need in our community. We believe in the power of a community to create a positive impact and work together to make a difference. We also understand the importance of serving others as part of our faith, and we encourage members of our church to get involved in outreach programs.
As part of the United Church of Christ denomination, we are committed to promoting justice, peace, and love in our communities and beyond. Our church welcomes all people regardless of their race, gender identity, sexual orientation, or socioeconomic status. We strive to create an inclusive and diverse community where everyone feels loved and accepted.
Through our outreach programs and partnerships, we hope to make a positive impact on the lives of those in need. Our work is guided by the teachings of Jesus Christ and the belief that we are all connected and responsible for each other. We invite you to join us in our mission to serve others and create a better world for all.
